Raspbian Wheezy!

I have installed Raspbian Wheezy (The operating system) on the 8GB SD Card which will plug into the Raspberry Pi.

Arcade Machine: Update 4!

Today we put in the speakers and super-glued them down onto the arcade the machine! So the top part of the Arcade Machine is complete and we just have finish off the bottom and then we can paper mache  the cardboard and then paint it. Then we can install the monitor, keyboard, mouse and most importantly the Raspberry Pi!

Arcade Machine: Update 3!

At the moment we are duck taping the places where two pieces of cardboard meet just to hold it together, will are aiming to be finished by the end of this week! We just need to add in the last few pieces of wood and then our Arcade Machine will be completed!

Arcade Machine: Update! 2

We have nearly finished building the frame to the Arcade machine but we ran out of wood! So on the weekend we will get some more wood and on Monday we will build the last part of the Arcade Machine! While we had no wood left we started to cover some of the frame in cardboard!!! We are expected to finish the whole frame by the end of the week! We have got our Raspberry Pi but will still need some more components for it to work! 

We will update you when we have completed more!!! 

Arcade Machine: Update!

At the moment we are building the frame for the arcade machine we have started building the bottom part of the arcade machine! We need the frame to be very strong as it will soon have to hold up the monitor, keyboard, speakers and mouse! So we have to nail and glue the wood and when it dries we tighten it up with duck tape just to be sure that it wont fall apart!
We are beginning to build the middle part of the arcade machine where the monitor will sit! We are also starting to build the top where we will put the speakers!

Our New Project!

Our new project is to get Raspberry Pi and build an Arcade Machine with it! We will then create games on Scratch and let the children play on the games!
